Huckabee Welcomes Hispanics
Geeze - when it rains it pours. Seems Huckabee doesn’t hate those illegal Mexicans. Hmm - is the Huckster a real Republican? We might want to see how this plays in NWA.”One of the great challenges facing us is that we do not commit the same mistakes with our growing Hispanic population that we did with African Americans 150 years ago and beyond. We’re still paying the price for the pathetic manner in which this country handled that,” Huckabee said at a meeting of the Political Animals Club in Little Rock. The club meets monthly to hear from political figures and experts.
“I think, frankly, the Lord is giving us a second chance to do better than we did before,” Huckabee said.”

Huckabee has a long history of taking a pro-open borders stance, and of pandering to the Hispanic ‘vote.’ Most Republicans would see him as a liberal.
And does wanting to enforce our existing laws amount to ‘hating’ Hispanics or anyone else? I guess to those on the left, it does. However, if you count immigration control as ‘hate’ then that makes all previous generations of Americans, all our ancestors haters, since open borders have never existed in America.
Even Mexico does not allow open borders; they deport far more illegals than America does, as do most countries.
And no Huckabee is not a ‘real Republican’; his comments eerily echo a speech Hillary Clinton made at one point, on immigration.

Huckabee if for small government. He’s Republican. I haven’t heard the speech Hillary Clinton gave on imigration, but even if the two share similar views it doesn’t make one any less republican or democrat. To be republican doesn’t mean to hate and oppose democrats.
