Foley Panel Says GOP Negligent of Teens
”The Republicans did not break rules but were negligent in protecting the pages,” Sure….neglect? No cover up and protecting their own arses and the fragile Republican Party, because what Republican Congressman would want the American public to know that one of their own was gay? Expecially when you win elections by gay bashing. So they “negelected” the pages and the Republican contolled panel charged to investigate this said…that’s OK. Gives you warm and fuzzies about the Christian and caring Republican Party and their leadership.
Former Rep. Mark Foley, was described as a “ticking time bomb” for his sexual come-ons to male pages, but Republican lawmakers and aides for a decade failed to protect the teenagers vulnerable to his advances, the House ethics committee concluded Friday. Despite that finding, the panel said no rules had been broken and no one should be punished.
