Rove’s Retirement: Why not now?
That old “leaker” Bob Novak had this little tidbit posted on the Evan-Novak Report today. The last sentence is very telling; Rove is “leaving the game”. And that is what this has been for Rove, a game. He was the architect of Bush 43 knowing the man was not mature enough or competent enough to hold the Presidency…it was not about our country, it was about the game and winning. Good riddance to Rove, our country should collectively sigh a loud sound of relief. My question is, why not go now?
Rove’s Retirement: To little notice in the national media, Bush presidential adviser Karl Rove disclosed during a Washington speaking engagement last week that he will not return to his lifetime profession as a political consultant when he leaves the White House. Rove referred to himself as “a former political consultant” and said that he was leaving the game.
