Powell: We Are Losing In Iraq
- I personally think Powell sold his soul for 30 pieces of silver when in 2002 he made his personal Achilles Heel speech before the U.N. However, I’m not stupid and Powell who has recognized and admitted his mistakes, which were many, when he served at the pleasure of George W. Bush has a lot to say and a lot of knowledge and experience behind what he says. Powell, in 2007 just might be the loudest voice and biggest critic of the Bush Iraq War. Great thing is, despite his sins, people still revere his opinions. Glad to see him step up The United States is losing the war in Iraq but sending more troops to Baghdad is not the best way to change course, former Secretary of State Colin Powell said on Face The Nation…

It’s difficult to imagine a man of his accomplishment who could not see the writing on the wall way back when.
I doubt the 30 pcs of sliver. Perhaps he was more naive than we would like to think. When he turned down Clinton’s offer for Sec of Defense I kinda figured he would end up being somebody’s lamb awaiting the slaughter and the ruthless triad in the Wht Hse did just that.
