Arkansas’ 3 Presidential Candidates for ‘08
I could not be prouder of Arkansas and of those that we the people have sent to Washington to represent our nation and us. Senator’s Dale Bumpers, David Pryor, William Fulbright, Congressman John Paul Hammerschimt, and President Bill Clinton are recent examples.  I don’t think it’s something in the water, rather I think we are such a down to earth grounded state where the combination of struggling and an abundance of common sense gives our representatives a common man appeal wrapped in a package of intelligence, competence and integrity. So here we are, in the next 3 months Arkansas can expect to have 3, yes 3 announced Presidential candidates; Wesley K. Clark, Mike Huckabee and Hillary Rhodam Clinton. No bad and we can expect at least on of these folks to be either our President or Vice President in 2008 or both, not bad for a small state of 2.9 million folks. (I include Hillary because she was Arkansas’ First Lady for 12 years, I figured even though she’s a Senator from New York, she qualifies as one of our own.)
Here a diary about the presumed candidacy of Governor Mike Huckabee posted over at DailyKos by Kos himself.
