John Kerry on Britain’s phased withdrawal
Since it’s common knowledge that Kerry has a tough time talking like the rest of us common folk, I’ll help him here…Yo, George what part of we blew it don’t you get? It’s time to get out of Dodge and let the Sunnis’ and Shiites settle their civil war.  From my point of view, Blair is pulling the British troops because he knows that all hell is gonna break loose when we land with our “surge”. It only takes a little common sense to know that the attacks will be escalted and more vicious. Say a prayer for our troops and an end to this madness.
John Kerry on Britain’s phased withdrawal: “America’s leading ally in Iraq has decided that a timetable for the phased redeployment of troops is the only responsible policy to help force Iraqis to stand up for Iraq. After years of touting Prime Minister Blair’s resolve, the Administration should now pay attention to his new policy. This announcement makes it all the more inexplicable that the President and leading Republicans actually want to send more American troops into the middle of an Iraqi civil war.â€

Interesting to watch Condie Rice try to put a positive spin on the British troop withdrawal.

Yes, it is interesting and very telling. Condi stands up and says the British “pulling out” is a good sign, that they’ve done their job in southern Iraq and are now turning it over the Iraqi forces.
Here’s a question I haven’t heard from the press…if the British are really our allies in this mess, why not send their soldiers into Bagdad and help out the Americans…instead of “cutting and running”?
