A week in the illegal-immigration debate

The problem is still there, and still growing. But things aren’t all bad. When viewed from the right angle, one can even see encouraging signs of progress amid the chaos of this national debate.

At the very least, it’s off the back burner — and the lid seems to have blown off the pot. Given that we’re making this recipe up as we go, that’s a good thing.
