Washington here I come
Good news for the folks in NWA.
Flights to Washington start Sept. 5, airline says
HIGHFILL — American Eagle, a regional partner of American Airlines, said Tuesday it will offer the state’s first nonstop flight to the nation’s capital starting Sept. 5.
The flight will depart daily from the regional airport at 7:15 a.m. and arrive at Washington’s Reagan National Airport at 10:35 a.m. A return flight leaves Washington at 5:05 p.m. and lands in Arkansas at 6:55 p.m.
Comair, a Delta Air Lines carrier, lost its bid earlier this month to provide a daily flight from Little Rock National Airport, Adams Field to Reagan National, because of limited airfield capacity in Washington.
