Obama, Huckabee Win Iowa
For me, the Iowa caucus was just the starting gate for a race that will take about a month to run before we get a clear Democratic and Republican nominee. What was stunning tonight, was the Democratic turnout…in fact it was two to one. So not only did the Republican establishment take a low blow by the Huckabee camp (the Christian Right’s revenge), the Republican Party had a pretty clear look at how voters were feeling about their party. When twice as many Democrats show up than Republicans…you’ve got yourself real big problems…expecially when you’re only 11 monts away from a national election. Sucks to be a Republican.

This country “rolled the dice” in 2000 and we don’t need to do that again. I’m not supporting anyone that I know very little about. I would hope most Democrats wouldn’t either. I also think we need a president to enact Democratic solutions. To hell with compromising with crooks.
