Here, Simon takes off on yet another elitist and McCain advisor on us poor folk and how the cost of gas and milk is just a figment of our imagination…so stop whining. Thing is, Phil Graham is McCain’s chief economic advisor, and if he or McCain doesn’t get what’s happening to the folks who do the living and dying in county, McCain cannot be President. We’ve had a President for the last 8 years who never got “us”, we won’t have a country if we get another.

Let’s stop the whining. I mean it. It is ruining the country.

If we all stopped whining, the economy would recover, the banks would stop failing, the stock market would go up, the value of your home would rise and you could fill your gas tank for less than the cost of a diamond tiara.

OK, so maybe that last one is optimistic. But good things would happen.

And that is because almost all problems are mental.
