I'm not going to disagree - Obama, having been attacked from the minute he won Iowa by vicious emails...that he's a Muslim, had to make a public and very demonstrive declaration that he's Christian and how long he's been a member of 1 church.

With the immergence of Wright and his wild glassy eyed views...Obama picked the wrong relative. The only saving grace for the Democratic Party; for all intense purposes, Obama was taken out by one of his own. The healing process will be easier.

Loyal reader, almost all the time agreer but this is a wild pitch.

Difference #1.
No national candidate that I am aware was ever a member of Falwell's or Robertson's congregation.

While they are jerk-offs of great proportion, where were the candidates who sat placidly in the pew for two decades? Which candidates cited them as a mentor and influence? Which candidates gave them campaign positions?

Which candidates endorsed those two with two decades of donations?

Without question there have been candidates who certainly tried to use the double crazy team to their advantage because of their ability to influence a few votes on a national scale. Wright lacked that influence even within the city of Chicago. Obama didn't go to Wright as political expediency, he endorsed his theology by choosing to place membership in that congregation.

Difference #2.
A handful of far right wing churches have had complaints filed for political activities such as distributing voter guides that only contain a few selected hot button issues and show the heathen secular Dems as just shy of devil worshippers along with a few sermons that normally don't name names but make it clear who the bad guy is.

Contrast that with the black church. Let's find some media guru to count pulpit appearances by candidates in the black churches vs. such appearances in the far right white churches.

Arkansas's "super delegates". I would like to remind everybody who are "super delegates" are so they know they will be held accountable.

http://projects.washingtonpost.com/2008-presidential-candidates/delegates/candidates/hillary-clinton/#ar

Blanche Lincoln
Mike Beebe
Mark Pyor
Marion Berry
Mike Ross
Vic Snyder
are all elected officials and Arkansas clearly voted for Hillary. I expect for my local super delegate to vote with Arkansas wishes. That being for Hillary Rodham Clinton. If anybody sneaks over and votes for Barack, it will not be forgotten come election time. Represenatives should represent.

I find it interesting that a woman has time to blog about politics, but cannot pick up the phone to call her two daughters who she has not seen in almost 10 years. I wonder what Ron Paul would say about that!

Keep Asa away for the good of the party. Even better, for the good of the state. Asa Hutchinson tainted himself and will infect anybody that he tries to support or help. When a canidate has to deny that he "is or has ever been part of the American Nazi Party" it is not good for anybody. Even the Democrats are embarrassed that he is from Arkansas. Asa Hutchinson came out of the womb wanting to prosecute. I can see him now tattling to Mrs. Green that Mary is coloring outside the lines in kindergarten. What kind of sick control issues does this guy have? His first job out of college was prosecutor for Washington county. Then he was U.S. Attorney for Western AR.(big time prosecutor) Then he was elected to Congress and in his first term his first order of business was to prosecute Bill Clinton for a bj.(my head shakes because I never knew getting a bj and lying about it so you wife won't find out was illegal) Of course because he turned on his own and tried to bring down Bill he was voted out.(the second time in recorded history that I voted for a Democrat was when I voted against Assa) Of course after the changing of the guard he was "appointed" to head the D.E.A. for his past loyal actions. During his time running the negative black hole known as the D.E.A. he wrote the "memo". The memo directed the Coast Guard to "use helicopter mounted .50 caliber machine guns to shoot at the engines of any watercraft that does not submit to a inspection within 7 minutes after being notified in International waters". That says a whole lot right there. Next he is # 2 guy at Homeland Security, aka modern day American Gestapo. Don't like phone taps? Talk to Assa cause he was there and in those meetings when those decisions were being made. Now Assa Hutchinson "wants to bring his leadership here to help the people of Arkansas". DEAR GOD PLEASE DON'T.

It is time to move on,,, and the biggest move needs to move past Asa and don't let him drag down the Republican Party again. Asa is tainted,,, come on let's go.

>The study was posted Tuesday on the Web site of the Center for Public Integrity, which worked with the Fund for Independence in Journalism.<
Both of these are leftist organizations funded by Bush Hater in chief George Soros and should not be trusted. False statements did not precede the war. Remember that Richard Clark, Albright the Clintons etc had not only warned of WMD but had chastised the new Bush admin over 9/11 for not connecting the dots. Well they connected the dots on IRAQ and we ended up with a miscalculation not "decidedly false pretenses"
P.S. nonprofit journalism organization does not mean nonpartisan

One of the highlights of the night for me was when the floor was opened for introductions, etc. - a man, I don't recall his name, stood and addressed the crowd and said: "My wife and I are [legal] immigrants, and I have a great deal of respect for the democratic system; it's great to see so many people out here taking part in the process that made this country great." (I'm paraphrasing, but that was the jist of it).

This comment was met with roaring applause - because he was right. It's all about getting involved at the local level and being a part of the process. This election has awoken me to that fact, as it has many others. It really was touching for someone from another country, that might not have the luxury of a democratic process, to have been made a citizen of our country and be involved. It was truly a moment that I am proud of... for that man, for my county and for the local republicans in our area.

If there is one thing we can all agree on this election season, it's that this a pivotal moment in history, and will be remembered as such.

Get out there and make your mark on it.

there and taking part in this. Everyone was very friendly to all the Ron Paul people unlike in other states and I was
very surprised in this which was a good

Obama and his use of the "race card" is making it less likely that he will ever be president. He's hurting those who are actually victims of their race and adding fuel to racisim.

Democrats should have nothing to do with anyone that claims the Clinton's are using race. Obama should know better. He's either dishonest or stupid. Either way, he's not fit to president.

The ugly thing is that for the cost being imposed on the states, the Federal government could issue free of charge, a passport to all Americans. The passport is the gold standard of identity.

The driver's license should be nothing more than a certification that the bearer shown on the document meets the minimum standard for driving in the state.

This country "rolled the dice" in 2000 and we don't need to do that again. I'm not supporting anyone that I know very little about. I would hope most Democrats wouldn't either. I also think we need a president to enact Democratic solutions. To hell with compromising with crooks.

(SCHIP)The State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP). This is Title XXI of the Social Security Act and is jointly financed by the Federal and State governments and administered by the States. Within broad Federal guidelines, each State determines the design of its program, eligibility groups, benefit packages, payment levels for coverage, and administrative and operating procedures.
I agree. I'm writing this from Dublin, so I am both Irish and European. I would say (and the polls on this point concur) that if the rest of the world had a say she'd win in a landslide. We know competence and passion when we see it. She would be a great president. America's standing in the world would benefit immensely from such a leader.

Thankfully we still have some degree of freedom of speech. I happen to believe that Mike Huckabee is excersizing his freedom of speech. And for the arrogant educated, who place themselves above being a follower of anyone but themselves we have "IN GOD WE TRUST, ALL OTHERS BRING FACTS".
